Engraving
We offer both machine and hand engraving. Our machine engraving is computerized, so we have multiple
opportunities. We have the ability to scan logos, your handwriting, special symbols, etc. and engrave
them on the item of your choice. One of our specialty items is wine bottles. They make an excellent
wedding gift or a special thank you with your company logo. We also have multiple fonts to choose from,
already programmed in. We have the ability to engrave on wood, metal, leather, glass, acrylic, steel,
and titanium. All computerized engraving is done on the premises.
We also offer hand engraving, a lost art. Our long time hand engraver is not on premise, but has practiced the
art for many years and does a beautiful job. He lives locally and the turn around time is very reasonable.
One other form of engraving offered on the premises is PHOTO engraving. You provide the photo and we
can engrave it on a selection of tags in the shape of hearts, dog tags, circles and ovals, etc. Most
often this is done on Nickle or Rhodium plate but can also be done on 14kt or Sterling for an additional
charge. Photo’s can be provided by e-mail, disc, or in paper form (all will work fine).

Custom Jewelry Design
Before / After Custom Jewelry Design:
As a long time established jeweler, our associates are well versed in the design aspect of jewelry.
For many years, we have helped customers take older pieces and redesign into newer more fashionable pieces.
Or have someone bring stones they inherited and help them to make a custom piece to fit their character.
We have one particular piece here we specialize in as well, we take a wedding band or engagement ring
of a loved one who has passed and make a beautiful heart pendant that you can wear close to your heart at
all times. This has always been a very popular piece.
We have two ways to work through the design process, the
old fashion way, to draw designs on paper and sketch the new pieces. Or, we have also invested in a
computerized modeling program that will allow us to design online so the customer can see the new piece
come to life right before their eyes. You get a true life visualization of the piece designed, in color.
If you have a unique piece to design or multiple pieces, it is best to call and make sure our experts are
available to spend time with you.

Jewelry Repair
Repairs on all jewelry are done in our shop in the back of the store. We employ one full-time jeweler
and one part-time jeweler. The store owner, Mary, is also educated in jewelry repair. We do repairs from
small chain solders to the most delicate of estate restorations.
- Chain Repair - A complete cleaning, weave and solder is done to complete an invisible repair.
- Ring Sizing - Our experts will size your finger for the perfect fit and the item will be cleaned to prestine
condition for an invisible repair.
- Stone and Diamond Setting - Each day we provide, replace, and set stones in all types of jewelry. Our experts
will help you choose the best color and size to fit your piece of jewelry.
- Antique and Estate Jewelry - We specialize in refurbishing antique and estate jewelry. Bring us your old pieces
that are worn or possibly disfigured. We can help you bring them back to the original condition or make
something new if you would like.
- Earring Conversion - We convert earrings to and from screw backs, pierced, and non-pierced.
- Pearl and Bead Restringing - We offer on sight pearl and bead restringing. Our experts will review stringing
options that will best suit your piece and provide the most safety for you jewelry when it is complete.
We also have a wide selection of clasps for beads and pearls if you are looking to make a change to the look
of your necklace or bracelet. We also clean pearls and beads.
- Sterling Silver Repair - We offer repairs of all sterling silver jewelry, solders, sizing, chain catches, and
stones in bracelets and rings.
- Gold and Rhodium Plating - We offer plating on gold items, as well as the now more popular Rhodium plating, which
helps give a brighter finish to both 14kt white gold and sterling. Rhodium plating will also help those who
have an allergic reaction to nickel and silver. A heavy plating will allow you to wear these items with little
or no reaction.
We also offer LASER WELDING capabilities for those difficult jobs.

Watch Repair
We offer watch repair on a large variety of name brand watches including Rolex, Bulova, Seiko, Omega, Gucci,
Citizen, etc. We specialize in older watches and pocket watches. Our watchmaker has over 30 years of
experience in watch repair and is very skilled at what he does. Estimates are always provided upon request
and encouraged.
Aspects of quality watch service that are often overlooked are the proper replacement of the power cell
(the battery), and the testing for water resistance and resealing of the watch.
Our family owned shop is equipped to replace the battery in nearly any type of watch on sight while you
wait. We stock batteries of every available size and type and gaskets for resealing if
necessary. If your watch needs to be resealed for water proofing, we also have that capability, but
this process will take a day or two for testing.

Appraisals
We offer appraisal services for insurance and estate purposes. Our appraiser will set an appointment and
spend time reviewing your items with you at the time you drop them off, but the appraisal process takes
approximately 2 weeks. The appraiser will do a full analysis of each item, take proper measurements, and
evaluate all needed information for a complete detailed appraisal. Please call ahead to make an appointment
with the appraiser.
Complimentary Ring Check and Cleaning
We offer complimentary ring check and cleaning while you wait. Our experts will check your rings and other
jewelry for loose stones, worn prongs, cracks in the shank, missing prongs, and clean the item while you wait.
Silver Repair
We offer repair on silver hollowware and flatware, both sterling and plated. Most of this work is sent out of
the store to our silversmith. Estimates are always provided before any work is completed and we establish
a time frame for completion.
