Bridgewater Jewelers is a 5th generation family-owned business and has operated at the same location
in Historic New Castle, Delaware for 125 years. Through the years, we have carried many different
products ranging from Victrolas™ to silver flatware to fine jewelry. Please visit our history

Today, we are well known for our expert jewelry repair and engraving, as well as the extensive line of
merchandise we carry. We are very diverse in our merchandise line and carry fine diamond and colored
stone jewelry, in addition to watches, sterling silver, and silver plated gift items. To round out our
offerings, we also carry jewelry boxes, jewelry/silver polish, and plaques/trophies. Our extensive
list of on-premise services includes two jewelers on staff, an engraver, and an appraiser.
We also have computerized design software to allow for on-site quick design work, with visual friendly pictures
for the customer to see what their completed piece will look like.

Custom design work is another long time tradition at Bridgewater’s. For many years we have taken pieces of
family jewelry and turned them into newly redesigned pieces to reflect the personality of the new owner.
Starting with an idea, a simple drawing on paper, and a few stones from an older ring – we have turned older
worn down jewelry into Masterpieces.
